How lucky we were to have discovered Bert and Al and so many more. Glad I am not young and living in their world.

Every time I pick up my guitar I play this song in Bert's style. I've added a little repeating bridge again in his style. I owe him everything in my picking

Super. I remember Les Cousins, but a snip it of Bungies would make the video perfect. They all played there including of course Jackson C Franke. I had the pleasure of seeing and listening. Quite something.

Those of us who saw him in places like Les Cousins back in the day know just how good he is.

Al is a better guitarist than he's given credit for.

so precious... even to see the Les Cousins billboard advertising Jackson C. Frank's performance.. I am aware of only 20 seconds of video showing Jackson C. Frank performing.. well 20 seconds more than exists of Nick Drake who performed Jackson C. Frank songs... still remains a mystery that both Sandy Denny and Nick Drake performed Jackson C. Frank songs and must have met as Drake once opened for Fairport Convention along with John and Bevery Martyn but I have never read about Drake or Denny commenting on the other's music.
