I am half European and half Asian. I spent most of my life in Japan and now I'm in Germany. I had never dated a Turkish woman while I was in Turkey, but from what I have seen, the concept of family is very strong among Turks. I saw many men walking their babies in parks, taking their children for a walk, sliding down the slide with their daughter, running with her and having fun 🙂 In Japan, you don't even hug your parents. There is always distance. I hugged more people in Turkey than I have ever hugged in my life 😅 It seemed very strange at first, but over time I realized that this is food for the soul 🙂 Turks are very warm-blooded people. You completely feel the sincerity. In this respect, they are very similar to Mediterranean people. I think they are very similar to Italians, Greeks, and especially Spanish. For now, Türkiye is the country of my retirement dreams.

3:58 Absolutely correct. When I was a kid, we had a Turkish family in our neighborhood. They were so kind and of course their foods were literally fantastic. Turks are tremendously great cookers. Trust me, you won't regret getting to know them.
