Just for the record.... I NEVER starch anything. I wash all of my fabric because people in my family are allergic to the sizing put in the fabric at the factory. I also don't want my quilts to shrink after they are made, so washing makes sure that the shrinkage happens before the quilts are made, giving me more control over the end product. I know it is not fashionable to do this, but I just wanted to add a different perspective--not better necessarily, just different. Also, and maybe most important, I never have concerns with bias edges stretching--just a tiny bit of extra watchfulness takes care of that. Never be afraid to take your own path! Love this fun quilt, by the way!

I loved this video…love the quilt as well. But I had to watch twice because I learned so much. The binding was awesome. I think I finally get it after all these years. And I’ve been quilting for 30 years. Thank you. And I have said this before but you are a fantastic teacher and funny!❤

Hey Tracy! So, how many night's sleep did you miss working this pattern out in your head?!? I give you 100 points for your patience and persistence filming this vlog post. You are truly amazing and talented, and have the patience of a saint!!! I want to sew badly, but that won't be happening for the next few months. However, I can live vicariously through you and other sewists and quilters on YT for a while. Great job on the quilt and pattern!!! Bravo for all your hard work!!! 🥰🏆🏅🥳🎉

I'm gaga over this quilt! I think I might make it reversed though so that it's a blueberry instead in memory of my Mom. I lost her on May 7 th. She loved all things blueberry ❤. Thank you for showing me what I've been doing wrong on my binding corners!!
