One think I love about Nick, is he is very knowledgeable, but if someone has a good suggestion, he’s humble enough to say “That’s a good suggestion” and implement it.

That house is breathing a sigh of relief with all that weight gone from the floors! The new joists will last a lifetime.

The amount of weight that was put on those floors is just ridiculous

Whoever recommended to them to angle cut the joists, thanks for keeping the boys safe! Awesome idea!! 😊❤

Ryan, I really love the open staircase! Perhaps you could just install a pretty railing instead of putting a wall back in.

By using the bags and cleaning up as you go it’s definitely a case of working smarter not harder. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Love the camera shots of the ceiling coming was like I was actually standing underneath, getting covered in dust and bits of rubble! Genius!

You look and sound so much more cheerful now that Nick is helping. A little while ago, you seemed so overwhelmed by the daunting and expensive task in front of you, but now - full steam ahead! Great going, and it makes life so much easier to clean up as you go.

What you guys are doing really is the proper way to go about it. As you have seen for yourselves, you really don't know what you have until its been exposed. Taking it all down and replacing will give you piece of mind that its all new, straight, and solid. Will be following this build to completion!

I always appreciate how Ryan repeats what floor he is on for Americans! I would always forget otherwise

I liked how you explained about the bags and why you can reused them. I also liked how you explained about cutting the beam in a small angel.

You can almost hear the house breath a sigh of relief from the weight it was carrying.
the new joists, will put J FOR JOY, WHEN THEY are renewed. BY the way Nick & Ryan just a bit of a tip excuse the pun. When u r clearing up rubble and such, I always sprinkle some water on the rubble, this keeps the dust down and binds it to gether. Saves breathing to much in. Keeeep renovating Biffo
