Volvo 740 T5 Project Update || Roll Cage Build || PART 1 of 2

In this episode I start the roll cage build on my Volvo 740 T5 engine swap project! This is a cage from Mattias Ledin motorsport that I have had laying around for quite some time, it was probably one of the first things that i bought for the build and now it is time to install it and learn more about how to build a roll cage which i have wanted to try for some time.

All I can say is that it takes a lot more work than one thinks, but is completely doable if you don't mind setting your car on fire multiple times and spend hours and hours crawling around inside a tight compartment with cutting dust and smoke.

I am putting the roll cage in there mainly to stiffen up the body of the flexible Volvo 740 and to add a bit of more protection just in case.

i've been following this build for a while and really enjoy the videos. I was wondering what engine mounts you used, i've gone through your videos over the car and cant find anything that mentions them. Are they custom or did you buy them somewhere?

hi I have changed the fuel pump
and now the fuel gauge
shows empty tank even though I have half a tank in the car..
I thought I would write in English and not norwegian.. i must have done something wrong..
