Sir Roger Gale told Kay Burley: "There's real power in Downing Street - but it's not in Number 10, it's in Number 11," saying "all the shots" are being called by the Chancellor.

Sir Roger did not support Liz Truss in her leadership bid - but did back Jeremy Hunt in 2019.

He said he wants to let Mr Hunt "get on with the job."

Tories need to stop working for their own individual self advancement and puffed up egos...

The Sun journalist DID ask Truss how come she sacked Kwasi and she gets to stay.

It was a misnomer for Conservatives to chose Liz Truss instead of Rish Sunak in the first place, she was never fit for purpose and she never will.

And the mayhem continues. When will this nightmare be over? We need a general election to put these Tories out of their misery in a HUMANE WAY! More humane then they have shown the poor, the sick the disabled and unemployed within our country.

The Tory party created this mess. With their growth, growth mantra. Now members seem to be stunned at what Truss promised them she’ll do. Rogers is full of s… if he thinks this was just a problem of preparing the markets. Growth doesn’t just happen, particularly if the last years produced none. Not to mention the state of Brexit and no significant new trade deals. Fighting the NI protocol has the potential to cause another economic shock. The Tories party lost itself. It’s no longer conservative but a bag full of different ideologies, run by too many simpletons.

If truss resigns in the house of commons on her own, it will be an honor than getting kicked out.
