sadly, mexico isnt safe. I live there, and let me tell you, even the "Dental Hub" of Los Algodones, considered one of the safest, is bad. One of my relatives were killed, i dont remember their names since i havent seen them in a while, but as they were walking somewhere i suppose, she was killed and defaced with a icepick. Even the boyfriend was a victim, so i advise that when traveling to Mexico, dont just go walking around in the park or something at night. Past 10, its simply not safe for you. Thats my advice, take it as you want.

It’s dangerous but not super dangerous as a Mexican is more likely to be hurt then a American gotta be careful and you’ll be safe type of place threat/unstable level isn’t as high as Haiti or other places

They don’t mess with Americans. Just be aware of your surroundings and use common sense. Just simple survival instincts that you should already be using anyways.
