But later on, on the plane, 007, ask permission from M. To return to James Bond, 007. By reply him back, is just a number!
How forward, should these lines really be, compare to 007 fans around the globe who deny a female 007!!

I loved the latest bond-movies exactly for the lack of "hyper-technology" and leaving it up to the actors to deliver quality. Although the actors (especially Daniel Craig) deliver exceptionally well, the presence of the hyper-tech (like this flying sub) detracts from the movie imho.

What I like about this scene is that it's clear that Bond is genuinely concerned for Madeleine and his daughter to the point that he has (largely) put away his sarcasm and humour, including competitive banter with the new 007, just adopting a grim determination instead.
