Steve Nash is a great basketball mind, but he’s also a very calm communicator. He’s also a basketball savant that walked that line between scoring and distributing almost perfectly. That’s very tough to teach other players however, because the switch needs to be flipped on and off on the fly each possession depending on what the team needs. I think Nash would be a great player development mentor, but head coach isn’t his thing.
