As an LSU dan I was so duckin excited when I saw him get drafted by the Nets. Being the elite scorer he was him learning from I think at the time 3 other elite scorers sounded like a dream. Inept coaching and weird decisions to not play him led to disappointment but he’s finally got his chance and he ain’t letting go

As a Nets fan, Cam is great. I still remember the comeback Knicks game and it was the greatest thing I’ve seen all that season. But…

1-He’s a second year player on a team with championship aspirations. He’s not gonna get alot of burn.

2-He’s a great scorer, but he’s not a good playmaker and his defense is subpar. Just watch a Nets games with Cam in it and you’ll see it too. He has extreme tunnel vision and is cone on defense up there with the likes of Seth Curry.

Nets should trade him while he’s young and healthy. Especially since the next 4-5 years are gonna be them gunning for a chip.
