I'm almost 1 year into learning. Granted I'm way better than when I first started but I still can't get myself to practice much with a metronome. Heck, I barely learn anything new anymore. I just want to sit at the kit and jam out lol

Well said that's why I explain to my lads learn how to work the metronome have one that identifies the one count so you don't get lost knowing how to improvise in 4/4 now that's where it gets fun knowing how to swing that makes patterns more fun Freeman's a good dude keep on teaching brother

Awesome lesson! I was wondering what Vic’s u jam with ? I recently got into the x55a’s which I really like. They seem to help me get around the kit a bit quicker but my tempo gets somewhat faster and faster throughout the groove. Should I go back to something heavier or just keep practicing with them ? I would greatly appreciate any advice or thoughts . Thank you .
