FINALLY!!! After 20+ videos there is one of my model. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was struggling to get the bottom cover off due to being nervous and a little shiv in the side popped it out easily. The amount of dust I pulled out (was a smoke for the first four years i owned the system) was absolutely insane. Cleaned it all up and it now does NOT sound like a Boeing 747. lol. Curious to check it in a few months (now that i no longer smoke) to see how much build up is there. THANKS AGAIN AMAZING VIDEO.

Best video out there about the 1215 model! Had the same thing! Little tiny bugs were living in my ps4! After I blasted the fan and intake with forced air, and the dust came flying out. I tested it with Resident Evil 2, and it is much quieter!

Ty so much for this vid even if it's made ages ago. I had to take apart my limited edition PS4 (clogged heatsink) but couldn't get the bottom off without fearing breaking the plastic. Your quick tip was much safer and left no damage compared to most vids I watched :)

I tried this out today and it all worked perfectly. The amount of dust in my fan was ridiculous lol. Instead of using the tools you mentioned, I used the tools that come in a glasses repair kit since I didnt have the ones you told us to use. Thank you so much. This helped alot!


Edit: my ps4 works great and the noise the fan used to make, stopped completely.
