DISRESPECTED. Eli is one of the most disrespected qb’s in NFL history. If you drafted a QB and were told that in his career he will eventually win you at least one SB you would take it. Eli not only won two, but they were two of the most legendary runs to those two SB wins. He beat everyone from Matt Ryan, Jeff Garcia, Tony Romo, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and of course Tom Brady twice. And it’s not like he just pulled a Trent Dilfer and just managed the game. In both SB wins his final drives to take the lead were also legendary. The first one with the David Tyree play, and then the second SB win where he threads the needle deep to Mario Manningham down the sideline. I’m a life long Dolphins fan, no where near a Eli fan, but just stating an unbiased observation of what Eli did and the disrespect he gets.

Eli was the QB who didn’t put up incredible stats every game he played, even every season compared to some of the ones people consider the “greatest”, but his work ethic said all it needed to for him. He came thru when it mattered. Won 2 of the most interesting Super Bowls in history. He deserves credit.
