Giving space above or below broodnest? Time to end a yearly discussion

Every year around the beginning of spring the same discussion starts, do you give space to the bees above or below the broodnest. Emotions quickly run high and everybody digs in their heels and nothing is solved.
I think it is time to put an end to the discussion once and for all!
There are pros to whichever method you choose and i will explain them in this video.

Hi! This is a very controversial subject and that's one of the reasons that make it very interesting for the beekeeping community, because if there is a debate that means that there are people in favor of each side, which means that both work fine for some people. As you said, there are factors like the temperature, the time of the year, or even the type of bees you have, that are also critical for it to work better one way or the other. So, ultimately, deciding which works for you is only a matter of trying for yourself.
