I’m finally done!!! Idk how long this took because I had some delays lol and I was binging buzzfeed unsolved and nexpo while drawing, so that kinda slowed me down XD

I initially thought of a story that’s kind of like a one-shot, but as I progressed, the story became longer that I could actually create an animatic series using different songs to show you the whole plot 😀

STORY:
(I’m not really good at storytelling and story writing for that matter, but I’m trying okay lmao)
so for this video, it shows the POV of Oliver, our boy. 👦🏽 For years now, he’s had feelings for his childhood friend, Jolene 👩🏻‍🦰 But everything changed when Jolene met Johanna 👩🏼 lol Oliver noticed that Jolene has had a crush on Johanna for a while now and is being jelly and all that. Oh yea and there’s also Owen 👦🏻 who’s friends with Oliver and Jolene. He’s kinda hesitant about his feelings for Oliver but is slowly getting the courage to convey it to him.

Before liking Johanna though, Jolene has had feelings for Oliver but is slowly losing hope because she thinks he has feelings for Owen. (more on this when I make Jolene’s POV which will be the next video) Meanwhile, our girl Johanna be liking Jolene back. But it’s no happy ending for them just yet cuz it seems that Jolene isn’t over her feelings for Oliver. ugh the drama, amiright?

Do note that this is kinda based on shoujo mangas and manhwas so if it seems cheesy, yes. it’s supposed to be XD

P.S. i changed Julia’s name to Jolene for the plot LOL

I love how the perspective of this song kind of changes throughout. Obviously it starts out with Oliver clearly meant to be the one "singing" it, but the lyrics also fit everyone else in the animatic. Johanna is Heather in Oliver's pov, Oliver is Heather in Johanna's, Jolene is Heather in Owen's, and Owen is Heather in Jolene's. Not only do they all have a Heather, they're all someone else's Heather as well.

An explanation for this story:
This is the point of view of Oliver. Oliver and Jolene are bestfriends. They both have hidden feelings for each other. Lately, Jolene has constantly set her eyes upon Johanna (Heather). Jolene and Johanna grew closer which led to Oliver thinking Jolene likes Johanna and that Johanna likes Jolene back. One day, Oliver walks out in the middle of getting jealous. Jolene tries to chase him but Johanna stops her and eventually showed her love confession to Jolene. But, Jolene rejects Johanna and chases after Oliver. Meanwhile, Owen, a close friend of Oliver, secretly likes Oliver. Owen comforted Oliver when he was heartbroken because of Jolene. Jolene saw this scene and misunderstood the relationship between Owen and Oliver.

I kinda relate so imma fckn drop my story. I have this gay friend, we're bff since we're in grade school and we're neighbours too so that's why. until when when we are in our senior hs, I got my first boyfriend. I talk to my friend abt this and he was like "okay cool good for you". three of us were happy, outing everywhere and the three of us well let's just say understand each other cuz all of us have a same hobby smth like that. One time we decided to go at the mall, at first we are all just fine. We go to arcades and eat. The last place that we go is on the videoke booth. I decided to buy some drinks at the first floor of the mall since we're on the third floor. I invited my boyfriend to come with me and he refuse. "i am waiting for the song that I choose" he said and then I was like "okay I'm gonna back in a minute wait for me". I buy some drinks and snacks for us. When I came back I saw something that I don't want to see. In a dark side of the videoke room, I saw my boyfriend kissing my gay friend. Yeah, what u hear is right, the two of them were kissing, French kiss. I stand there like I'm a fucking statue, I can't really move my body. I was standing there like 5 mins until they saw me standing outside of the room. My boyfriend shove my gay friend and he run towards to me saying: what I saw is not something that I need to worry about. In that moment my eyes where focusing not to my boyfriend but on my gay friend. He was sitting there and looking at me directly at my eyes. The crowds are getting bigger and bigger towards to us. Some were taking a vid of three of us. Until my gay friend started to move, he was about to run away but I grab his arms and look at his eyes. I hold his cheeks and hug him. Suddenly my tears were starting to fall the last words that I told to my friend was "its okay, no need to worry, you can have him. I'm so proud that u found the one for you." and then I left them there. After that scene, I go to my grandma. I started a new life there. Now that I am a completely adult, living at some peaceful place there is just one thing that running through my head. I realized that I am in love with my gay friend.
