this board is usually around 30$ on chinese websites, 20 for keycaps, 10-30 more for switches of choice, plus assuming it doesn’t come with mod materials like lubed switches, no foam inside, etc, on those you gonna spend about 15 more. and just like that this keyboard build actual price is 80-90$ 🪦

The sound is perfect because it's just loud enough to hear it but not too loud to be annoying and it still clicks nicely.

The cheapest board I use is one of the more elaborate rubber dome boards. A rubber dome with slider BTC board. I paid 2€ for one, so I bought 10 of them and gift them out to friends as backup boards and use them in my office. Five years after getting the first one of them, they're still good and with the right caps sound great.

The total for a completely (cheap) budget build would probably be around 60-70. If I were to use KTT switches it'd be a bit over $40 then I could either get a random $10 keycap set or spend another $20-30 on some clones.

I’ve got this keyboard. the problem that I’ve encountered in the long run is that the wire connected to the board and type c board got damaged due to its bendable board, it trapped the wire and now it not working properly.
