She had style, she had flair, and she was there, that's how she became the nanny. There was nothing better than turning on CBS and seeing that catchy animated opening for, The Nanny Centered around Jewish fashionista, Fran Fine, who became the nanny of three children in the New York-British high society. The show actually took much inspiration from Fran Drescher’s real life, growing up in Queens, being a Jewish woman, and of course being the star - and it worked, as the hit comedy brought in 12 Emmy nominations, mostly honoring Fran and the amazing costumes created by Brenda Cooper, who took home the only Emmy Win in 1995. This show was all things 90s, and was anchored by quirky characters with their own long running gags, and much of that credit goes to the actors. So that’s where we come in.

Loved the show so I read one of her articles about her and her cancer symptoms and noticed they mimicked my own and saw a doctor and found out that I had the same problem. It may have saved my life. Thank you Fran Dresher!

I met Fran in March 2018 at a DC Health Convention. She was very happy to sign my 3rd Season DVD. And, yes, that voice is REAL!!

I love the episode when Fran comes home drunk and ends up in Mr. Sheffield's bed!! Then Nyles brings Cece up to the room while singing happy birthday to her!!

Favourite scene ever: When Niles does the Tom Cruise scene and tells CC " You know I'm going to have to kill you" when he realises she's been watching his routine! Hilarious!!!🤣😂🤣

First episode of the third season - when Niles tricks CC into thinking he was Maxwell and got her to, 'cluck like a chicken." How Lauren and Daniel managed to pull it off with out busting out laughing is something - love to see if there were bloopers for that scene!

My favorite episode was when Fran and CC were locked in the wine cellar, and Fran did her hair and makeup. It was sooo funny. I've watched that series over and over. Still watch when I see one on now. Fran was sooo funny.

I’m so grateful it’s on HBO! I’ve been watching it from the beginning and there’s not one episode where I don’t die laughing 🤣. Everyone had such great chemistry! It was such a great show ❤️

I’m 70…still watch and record The Nanny & purchased the DVD’s. My hub always “poo-pooed” it….until he watched the antics between CeeCee and Niles. Now he never misses a rerunning episode!! I absolutely adore Fran’s lovable character, but I think Niles and CC made it all possible. <Cluck like a chicken>

Love, love, love Niles…(Daniel Davis) I still remember the time he was dancing to “Old Time Rock and Roll” in his boxers (thinking no one was home) and CC walks in. Just too funny!! 😆😄
