Piazzolla was not liked in Argentina, we only now adore his music.
It is a testament to his genius that only later generations acknowledge his contribution to the whole since truly gifted artist are appreciated after they are gone.

For all the ones arguing about this marvelous player... I believe this is what Piazolla is all about... I mean, think about it... It's a Fusion Between Classical Orchestral Music and Traditional Folkloric Tango... Tango is Erotic, Romantic, Passionate, mindless, its pure Ego.. yet classical is structured, rigid, organized, refined Sublimation through perfection, This "Musical Paradox" is what makes Astor Piazolla such a great and everlasting composer, just as Mario Stefano a unique player and the best Piazolla's interpreter and performer. Sorry for my English is not my native tongue... I'm From Mexico and i am 26 years old... Greetings to everyone who enjoys this wonderful piece

You are my hero, Mario Stefano, I have been in love with you, with your love for music, your sensuality. My life has been so much richer since I discovered you and your interpretation of Piazzola. I'm sure master would be overwhelmed. I was lucky to see you in London, at the Academy before world has died. Este señor tuvo que caminar por una vereda desolada de Buenos Aires, haber abierto la puerta de un bar en invierno, tiene que haber esperado el tren en un sucio andén, haber visto llover desde una ventana de un triste hotel, de otra forma no es posible interpretar con esa pasión.
