It was towards the end of the 80s, I lived in New York and I went from time to time to stroll in Central Park, one day I was sitting on a railing in front of a small kiosk, men dressed in black came and played in the kiosk, like that, it was Astor Piazzola and few other musicians. Until i wrote this message i was wondering why they offered us this gift, like that, but now i understand, they wanted to tell, that their music was a real free gift.

I don't know if Gods exist, but there are humans who make music like them. Thank you Astor Piazzolla, wherever you are.

It never fails..Piazzolla and his magic send me back to my youth, and to an Argentina that only exists in my memory. And again I discover that I never really left my beloved country. It was only my body leaving it for more than four decades. But I forgot my heart, soul and love for this incredible music there.

Oblivion, by the great Piazzolla, is a song that makes my soul dance.
I hear it performed by many artists and their instruments, in addition to its bandoneon always accompanied by divine violins.
Today I found this video with 15 of her presentations.
I thought I would get tired listening to it for an hour.
But I prepared for this. Alone on the farm, I turned off the TV and entered the comfort of silence.
I remembered that in this way, I had just refused to be torpedoed for the same amount of time, by a biased broadcaster, who would show me innocent blood in a championship of horror, of news about how my country is mortally contaminated, red, not with blood, but with archaic ideologies compounded by drugs and the destruction of families.
I would spend, as I spent the same amount of time, among accordions, pianos, violins, bandoneons, all rocking envious dances of love between a couple, from ballets to ice and a wonderful voice, romantic and warmed by the French language.
Ah, what a good exchange I made!
I offer it to you.
But if you don't have that time, save the offer and use it in a fragmented way in 15 portions of beauty, at a time that suits you best...

All the arrangements are very beautiful but for me, the first one is the one I would listen on and on.

Something you think you are successfully to forget but once the music plays, you find it still there in your heart and it still hurts you. Or you have been long forgotten but you don’t aware being left alone.

No componía música...

Honestly, the harmonica version did it for me. I appreciate all the others as well, but there is something about the clear sweet tones of the harmonica that seems to draw out the emotions the best. The accordian and violin are a close second.
