Remove Underlined Links from Gmail Signature

I figured it out.
When the html email is pased in the gmail signature inspect the elements and add text-decoration:none; then save signature.

The solution is to copy+paste the signature into gmail settings in SAFARI, and save it using SAFARI, not Chrome.
