i'm trans, panromantic, and anxious and depressed as all hell. i'm so lucky i have an accepting mom who does everything for me - from driving me to gainesville florida for a gender clinic, to buying me my first binder, to taking me to pride, to homeschooling me because of my mental health. i'm so sorry that your parents are too accepting.

My parents are super supportive of me, especially my mom. I can’t imagine what it’d be like to get that reaction, especially from your own parents. Being gay is different, yes, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s not hurting anyone. The only person it would hurt would be you yourself, if you know loved ones won’t be supportive, or if you don’t accept yourself. big fan over here btw 💕💪

I love Frederic so much because he's not only hilarious but I can relate to him so much. My dad found out only part of my sexuality and didn't completely understand so I had to explain a lot. We sat there in silence because it was in the car. I don't think he was too upset because the reason he found out was looking at a shirt and he got it for me. I don't think he told my mom but I'm kind of scared to tell my family because they are very religious. I know my cousins are more open to things like that but older more "traditional" generations I'm worried about.
