In this video, Sam demonstrates the process of removing, cleaning, and reinstalling a hair system. He saturates the hair, separates the natural hair, uses cotton balls with C22 to remove glue, cleans the system, marks his head and the system, applies adhesive, and attaches the hair system. He shows the final result, which looks natural and well-installed. Sam also mentions using root touch-up for any visible white residue.

LaVivid’s Louis hair system uses the most advanced C-through Bio Skin base, and the skin thickness is 0.04-0.06 mm. It is the second thinnest skin base in our line. The C-through Bio Skin base is not like other skin bases on the market. Our C-through Bio Skin base gives you a dull finish appearance, so your hairline or scalp doesn’t shine under light. At the same time, it is also transparent, and you can see your scalp through the base. The hair looks like it grows from your scalp.

The Louis C-through Bio Skin Hair System also offers you a very natural-looking hairline. At the same time, it can offer you durability, with a three to four-month lifespan expected.

*Massive kudos to all the unsung hero's who aren't afraid to share this knowledge. It takes a man with a special kind of confidence to share this info, especially, on a social media. Well done, brother.* But, there are also some important things not mentioned (or assumed) here, and the titled is misleading. Obviously, this was a system he had been wearing, NOT a brand new system. Receiving, cutting the base, and putting on a brand new system (while similar in many aspects to this video) is an entire video in and of itself. What system is this? What adhesive(s) did he use. Some of these tapes, you will NOT get off these thin skin systems, I don't care if you use a f^^king, military-grade, flame thrower (which is actually a good thing in some cases, as long as you know what you're getting into when you use those tapes). These skin-based systems are undetectable (to the customer or "other" person), and SUPER comfortable Actually, comfortable is misleading, because you can't feel it there to call it comfortable. But, I digress.... But, if you don't get this thing put on right, prior to that glue/tape even STARTING to set, you just destroyed that system, and then you'll be combing for videos on how to fix tears, get glue out of the hair, etc, etc... And, you can't see the back of your head. So, a number of very important things need addressed, some fairly minor, some major (along with the titled of this video updated). Someone wearing one for the first time, who will already be stressed out, and insecure about what they're doing, can really screw up a brand new piece (we've ALL been there) if they don't get off on the right foot. The titled issue is probably a language barrier with LaVivid, which isn't this guy's fault. For the newbies trying to find a starting point, make sure you watch the videos on attaching, and or cutting, brand new systems. And, for what it's worth it's worth the wait, and expense, to make your own hair-line template and send it to them, to cut it for you initially. You can make as many of those as you want with $5 worth of plastic wrap till you get it right. LaVivid has a plan for that, as well (no I'm not affiliated with LaVivid). Then after 3-4 systems, you'll start to lose your "fear" of it... That's a mouthful, and not meant to sound ungrateful to this gentlment. I've been doing this for 30yrs, and have never seen the cotton trick. There's always something new to learn...so, I'll have to try that 👍. But, I'm also curios as to what tape he used. With the skin systems, you don't need anywhere NEAR the adhesive strength, that you need with lace.

Looks great! How often do you need to change the system? Do you need to cut it?

Why are you cleaning and applying the system like is a lace system? With the cotton ball cleaning and marking were the glue should go? When you can clean the all thing with a paper towel and some C22, then aplly the glue directly on the system and that's it.

You're not supposed to use tape with this of system as it can rip the thin layer of the system.
