Greg’s forehead veins are more prominent and throbbing as soon as he sees this. lol 😂

You don't even need to hear this guy explain the reasons behind his opinions, the fact that he always prefaces his statements with bragging about his accomplishments is enough to scream bullshit.

Waiting for Greg to start screaming at my face again. Thanks bro

Sounds like a salesman making unsubstantiated analogies. He should get involved in politics though for real.

Down to 198lbs from 300lbs in January, all I've done is track calories, currently on 2200-2400 calories, this guy's a joke, I eat all day.

Can't wait to see what video layne Norton does about this.

For a guy interested on longevity, Asprey looks like a disaster. He looks like he is in his mid 60s. Do the exact opposite of what Dave recommends

So our bodies process all calories the same way, through the same organs and metabolic pathways, yielding the same efficiency?

It's not stupid. It is a tool that works for many people and doesn't work for others. CICO worked for me to lose 40lbs this year, and made me learn how to stay satiated with the right whole foods that worked for me, and I even fit in many cheat snacks. It fit my personality, and works for a lot of people. Other people, it doesn't fit. This is a bad interview.

When pressed Dave always reluctantly admits that it’s cico. He just gives convoluted answers. No one ever said calories out never changes or that calories are easy to accurately measure. His straw man is all he has to knock down.

1. calories is just a unit of measurement.
2. Calories in calories out doesn't mean don't eat. You can eat a lot if you are eating decent food.
3. If he is such a bio hacker why is he aging like milk

Can confirm, that butter coffee mct oil shit does kill my sugar cravings and keeps me from eating bullshit which cuts out on a shit ton of calories.

I eat until I'm full, and just try to eat what's good for me. If I eat healthy options, I am usually fuller longer. I have never had weight issues, and now that I'm going to gym I'm naturally more hungry, I eat more healthy food than I normally do, and now I'm naturally bulking with no weight issues. I am not taking protein powders or electrolyte drinks or protein bars or supplements to help this, nor am I counting calories. The one thing I track and try to be mentally aware of is protein, and that usually helps me naturally balance out my diet. proccessed

If you're starving yourself all the time because of calories in calories out, you're going to be more prone to failure, and it says more about your diet than it does your weight. Remove the cravings (any ultra-processed or high sugar or high sodium food or substitute sugar food - sucrose, aspartame etc.), remove wheat (turns into glucose = raises insulin = more hungry), eat more vegetables, white meats, fruits (whole fruits, don't make juices), nuts, grains, and use honey as a natural sweetner. Have porridge in the morning.

That was a weird way of saying to lose fat you have to be in a caloric deficit

jep

In this case! He’s actually wrong !
Reason he suffered because very poor food choices
But if he were in deficit he could definitely lose weight! Even hunger and other stuff suck balls!
Remember the twinke diet?!
(Not recommended)

Calories still matter. But if it’s all about not being hungry, then eat more foods that fill you up without being super calorie dense. Such as fruits and veggies. You know, the healthier food choices 🙄

Jesus Christ this is getting worse. Please go check out derek interview Huberman about this

Plus a lot of people skip breakfast I eat breakfast not because it's the most important meal but because it ramps up my metabolism and stops me keeps me fuller longer before I eat again

The title should be "calorie tracking" is stupid. CICO was never mentioned. I don't agree with his BS but the title is misleading.

CICO cultists often ignore how different foods drive hunger and appetite.
