Antique French Louis Reviva Ormolu & Glass Jewellery Casket

This is a magnificent antique French ormolu and glass Louis XVI Revival jewellery casket, circa 1880 in date.

This spectacular ormolu casket is rectangular in shape with canted corners and has a splendid hinged cover with delicate floral ormolu decoration to the centre. It features five bevelled glass panels with elegant beaded borders and beautiful scrolls to the corners.

It stands on four exquisite and charming ball feet, and the underside is stamped with the name of the renowned Parisian casket maker 'MORFAU'.

It comes with its original lock and key.

There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, which is sure to make it a treasured piece for any discerning collector.
