How to set up SFTP access for S3 using AWS Transfer for SFTP

AWS Transfer for SFTP is a fully managed service which allows users to transfer (upload/download) files in and out of an S3 bucket. This video shows you how to set up the bucket, the IAM roles, a custom domain name and the SFTP access endpoint. You can also see how to connect to the S3 bucket with an SFTP client.

@Majestic.cloud I'm unable to authenticate with the custom hostname despite using the cname in Route53, only using the entire Endpoint works. What could be causing this?
Also, what could be the causing the error "Connection has been unexpectedly closed- Cannot initialize SFTP protocol- Is the host running an SFTP server?" ? Thanks.

is there a delay in the DNS record being created? I get a "Host unknown: Unable to locate the server" error. I believe it to be a 24 hours turnaround time but you didnt mention anything on this
