Reason 1) Now you will say that why you need Filezilla, when you can do this directly from your cpanel's file manager too.

Well you need use filezilla because it is very fast to connect and move and manage files using filezilla. Specially if you have multiple sites or if you manage sites for your cleints.

You can add all ftp account at one place and in 1 click you are connected to that website. when in coanel. you need to login into hosting account and then go to cpanel and then click on file manager and then the work starts.

Reason 2 ) You should use when you are transferring large alount of file. because when you use cpanel it works via browser and you know browsers crash all the time. You it makes FTP/filezilla a safer choice.

Reason 3) If you want to share your websites file with someone like a designer or a developer, You should not share them the cpanel details. instead you can create a ftp account for them and they can connect to your site using they ftp account and filezilla. You can give them permission to specific folders too. you can define if they are allower to edit /delete a file or not. where in cpanel this is not possible.
