Hi! Someone can tell my why does not work when i change the /var/sftp/Files to /mnt/myext4HDD/sftp/Files

Or how can work this out? In filezilla i get Could not connect to server msg back...

i wonder what can happen if i make a /var/sftp/Files to a symlink which is pointing to /mnt/myext4HDD/sftp/Files

What i just mentioned is working.... But i symlinked the sftp folder instead of sftp/files

My question is - Why create the SFTP group if you never used it. Shouldnt you have set the FILES directory as property of SFTP group instead of WALU ? Setting propperty to walu only gives access to walu and no other users that may have SFTP group as secondary group.

This will *work* but this is not a complete SFTP. You all should be assigning it a public IP address to access outside of the network and integrate it with a SQLite3 DB for user management.

4:00 How can I give permissions to my sftp users to create/change/delete files from /var/www + directories? I noticed that you are giving access to another folder specifically, but I would like to have them have access to /var/www/ and beyond.... Can you please help? :D Thanks!
