I'm trying to migrate a PS3 game I was playing through windows to PopOS. Decided to finally change my OS but I backed up the PS3 game folders I had.
I was able to boot up rpcs3 again thanks to this video at least. I just can't get the games to show up on the list when adding them. Really just don't want to have to restart my progress if I don't have to.

Okay I figured it out. When you have the emulator open just drag/drop the game folder on the program and itll add. My save files are gone, so that's a nightmare. Either way thanks for the guide. Some games, like Persona 5, don't even want to link to the emulator while Demon's Souls worked first try.

Nice video. I wanted to see how my low end PC would react and Minecraft runs at ~20 FPS with messed up textures and movements animations. The music works fine and the character moves alongside the inputs, though.

Do you know if Xbox Series with dev mode can get this emulator to work?

I'm having an issue with the rap file I've put it in the exdata folder and when I try to launch a game (the game is Pkg download) it shows that rap file is missing? Do you know how to fix that issue?

I'm using the current version of Linux Mint Cinnamon, and I just set up the RPCS3 for the first time, but the problem I have been having is the compiling shaders. I don't know how to fix it because this is my first time using the RPCS3. I don't know if it's the program or the games I downloaded from Vimm's Lair because I'm trying to play games like Spider-Man: Edge of Time and Shatter Dimensions. Also, I don't suppose you know any Playstation 3 rom websites that are safe to use. Because Vimm's Lair is super slow in downloading, and in RPCS3, the game is way too slow. So, I wonder if anyone knows what safe websites to use for downloading any PS3 game.

Q: I have two Power A switch controllers attached through evdev, both are recognized and show motion when you move the sticks within the pad config, but when I enter any game, only the 1st player's controller is recognized by the game. Anyone know why or how to fix this?

Really noob question, is the emulator more CPU or GPU heavy? I know it'll depend on the game but can I makr the games use less GPU power (2021, GPUs are rare). Any tutorials?
