English is my second language..before when I spoke this language always was feeling nervous.but then realized that I make some mistakes even in my native tongue..so never feel embrassment, never say "sorry" when I speak English..I proud of myself..

I have never apologised for my English and I am gonna promise you that I will never do that in the future as well. And I am not afraid of making mistakes because I can learn a lot from them. And cheers for this fascinating lesson Ethan:)

Unfortunately, in my country that's so common. Brazilian people always apologize for their English

You don't know how helpful and convenient this video is for me. I've been living in England for the last 3 months, and I've been suffering from that fear a lot. Every time I practice alone, it's like my pronunciation and fluency is better than ever, but in face-to-face conversation with some English colleagues from work, I get stuck, and then feel less confident and kinda under pressure as if the rest expected more from me. I make mistakes out of nervousness and anxiety, and the current lockdown doesn't help me strengthen my weaknesses as I have less interaction with other people. However, I try to cheer up and keep going because I will only be here for 5 more months and want to make the most of it, so your video fits perfectly as an impulse to not give up. Thanks, Ethan!

Hi Ethan! Thank you for posting this great video! I’m from Japan. When I communicate with English speakers, I have often said, “Sorry for my bad English”... From now on, I will pay attention to that without perfectionism!!

Hi Ethan! I've started to worry about my english when people made me notice that I wasn't that good at it, and since then I've started to lose confidence and even some pleasure to learn english as I used to do once...I don't have partners as comprehensive and patient as you and other people are, that's why I feel the need to apologize for my english at the beginning of a conversation...and yes, I'm also very shy :( but I do appreciate what you said because I want to change this bad attitude...and, of course, I'm getting better with your videos, thank you and Andrea, you're always so nice and good teachers!

Boyyy... I use this phase a lot... This really changed my vision about confidence when talking in English, even though I already knew it was important to sound chill I think that I really didn't used that rule in my writing.
Cool video, I hope to improve even more ✨ I always watch one of your videos per day to get more vocabulary and it helped my pronunciation too! ☺

I've been practicing english with this channel and with TV Series. There's no doubt these channels are doing something great and for free. Don't pay a course to learn english, instead, watch this channel.

Unfortunately, in my country Indonesia. A lot of people always say like that because their English. Me too. Even, they're used to saying RIP English. It was so terrible haha. The first time I use English on internet for example like YouTube, Facebook, or else. I used to say that. But, now. I won't say that anymore. I feel more confident with my English. Thank you Ethan. You're a great teacher 👍
