My mother used to always say that everything comes back in style if you wait long enough. As a person who’s been in the Dancesport business for nearly 4 decades, I can see the latest consume trends channeling the dresses from the 80s, in a much sleeker style, and with much more high-end materials and rhinestone work.... but like Anastasia’s bright yellow dress is very reminiscent of something Melanie Lapatin would have worn when she and Tony first starting hitting the top 6 during the early 80s. It’s very cool to see classic ideas reinvented in modern styles!!
