Awesome song and confession - I listen to this song all the time and claim these promises! Doesn't matter what i feel, Doesn't matter what I see...your PROMISES TO ME! - just like when the doctors told us my wife, if survived, was permanently paralyzed on her entire left side, mute and deaf when in a coma and on life support a few years ago from a massive brain aneurysm - we REFUSED to believe these reports (Didnt matter what 'we' saw...) and prayed night and day over her claiming His Promise she was healed by 'His Stripes' and two weeks later, still in a coma, while praying over her w our missionary friend her left thumb twitched! .... she began to regain all feeling, came out of her coma, slowly regained her speech, hearing etc. and WALKED out of the Neuro ICU - God Miraculously healed her! Her nurses, neurosurgeons, etc. had no other answers and they called Bridget the MIRACLE on their 'unit'! Praise be to our God for His goodness and the power of Faith in HIS PROMISES! DON'T LET SATAN ROB YOU OF YOUR 'INHERITANCE'! Thank you Elevation for this song that takes me back there every time when I think life gets tough! In my freshman year of high school, I found out that my grandmother had gastric lymphoma. My initial reaction, as well as my family’s, was of course fear. Her’s was much different. She had always had such a great faith in God, so much so that she was the one that reminded us of His goodness and power. God delivered her from the cancer and we were all so grateful to God for His faithfulness and deliverance. He is so good. Fast forward to the beginning of my junior year of high school and we find out that she now has leukemia. Trusting in God, I wasn’t worried and neither was she. We stayed faithful to God and took it day by day, praying so that God could do what He would as well as doing what we could. I would play this song for her, even though her native tongue was Spanish. She knew English but I still made sure to explain to her the lyrics of the song. This song and God, of course, filled me with so much hope. She passed away this February and I still miss her so much, but I know that she is with the Lord and one day we’ll be reunited to praise God for all of our days. Although I saw the sickness progressing, my hope was still in God, and more importantly so was hers. The outcome was not one that I anticipated or desired but it was all in God’s will. This comforts because God knows far more than I ever will. That being said, God is so good no matter the circumstances that we face and I’m so grateful for who He is and how He loves us.

I believe in God for so many things and He has plans for each one of us. Our days are in His able hands. I just wanted to add, be closer to God and he will be closer to you. Do not seek God only when you are in trouble or when you are sick. Seek God at all times even when there is plenty. Be thankful in all circumstances because I have realized that when you thank God in the worst of situations he makes everything work out for good. Please, let us remove the garment of pride and humble ourselves before him in worship and prayer. Also, despite the changes, let us continue praying for our kids and fight for the purpose of God to prevail in each one of us all for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
