I just took my NCLEX RN this February with only 2-weeks focused review. I had a lot of barricades before the exam- boss unwilling to give me a leave even though I have abundant leave credits, I had family problems, it has been 5 years since I graduated nursing school, I was alone physically in my place. But I held on to the Lord's promise that His plans are to prosper us and not to harm us, that with His Help we will advance against a troop and scale a wall. I kept listening to this song while reviewing and even after my exam while waiting for the results. After 3 days of waiting, I am now a USRN. Pure product of God's grace. Of His love and mercy. GOD KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU. JUST HOLD ON TO THIS PROMISE. IF HE SAID HE WILL DO IT, HE WILL- even when it seems like the whole world is against you or your dreams. God bless us!

To the person reading the comments and feeling conflicted because God didn't give you what you wanted but gave other people what they first and foremost that this song isn't about being given everything you could possibly want. It's not about riches, or success and at times as hard as it is to believe it may not be about health.

The song says "I know YOUR plans for me are good." It doesn't say my plans for myself. If you're listening, you'll realise that this is a song about knowing that God's plans will always be better than our own no matter how hard that is to believe sometimes. It's a song that declares God's faithfulness, a song to be sung when things go our way and when things don't.

So if you are struggling to listen to this song or struggling to read the comments... in this moment just surrender as much as you can. Come broken. Let God do what He needs to in your life and trust that He's got you! He's got your family! He's got your future! Declare this as an anthem over your situation. Declare that God's plans are GOOD! and position yourself for victory :)
