I always discover so many fun books through your channel :) (thank you!) So I wanted to recommend a book as well: What you can see from here by Mariana Leky. It’s about a woman named Selma who lives in a small vilage in Western Germany and whenever she dreams of an okapi she knows that someone in her village is about to die. There’s so much more to this story but that was only a short synopsis. I don’t know if you read this already but feel free to look into it in case you’re interested !

I’ve got Detransition Baby out from the library and I’m hoping to get to it this week. I was really excited to see that Tell Me I’m Worthless is gonna be published here in the US by Tor Nightfire in 2023! Although I may end up ordering a copy next year because I’m not sure I can wait that long. 😁 Merry Christmas!

Detransition, baby is one of my top books of the year though I haven't numbered them (yet). It was also very funny in places.

may i suggest "boys run the riot", it is a manga written and drawn by a transgender man Keito Gaku, it is about trans boys experiences in high school, three volumes of the english version are out now, I have vol 2 and 3 right now, vol 1 is out of print, just waiting for it to be back in stock

My favourite books of 2021 were the invisible life of addie la rue (wish I'm shocked didn't make your list!) and open water by caleb azumah nelson which was stunningly beautiful

I bought Ariadne and she who became the sun based on your recommendations. I can't wait to read them. I have not yet read a trans novel. Which one should I purchase detransition baby or I am worthless? My favorite book of 2021 was actually a memoir: between two kingdoms.
