For everyone saying it is not normal, I just tried to shake it with the 10x lens activated in the camara and it stopped the sound inmediatly, so relax, there is nothing to worry about, when the stabilizer is turned of it shakes and makes that sound 😉 I have a 23 ultra btw

If its normal, howcome it didn't make a noise when its brand new but a few months in its starts? I know other people have experienced the same thing. I hope there is a legit reason for this as I love the phone but its been bugging me.

I've noticed it on the s22 ultra and the s23 and s23 plus also try shaking it holding the bottom and shake the top back and forth rather than side to side and its WAY worse. I almost took mine back

initially i dont have this rattling sound..after 6 months, this rattling sound appear.... pretty crap.

I just noticed that sound and I got scared, it sounds really like something is broken on the inside. I think the noise comes from the OIS from the 10x Camera, if you activate the 10x zoom that noise disappear

they should have put some kind of stabilizer for that sound, it is not normal that some s23ultra sounds louder and some weaker, I had the opportunity to try it on several devices. I will not return the mobile phone, the only option is to dig it up, but I don't want that. the very fact that a €1400 mobile phone is a bad rumor, you are afraid to run a little harder, fearing that a strong jolt might screw up your camera.

The thing is that this is not a feature. Not all galaxy phones make that sound and not all who do have done so from the beginning. The ratteling is definitely a defect, a minor one though. It should't hurt image quality but it is annoying. It is about a defect as dead pixels. Not dramatic and not considered a defect from the manufacturer but a defect non the less.

Hello i have a S23Ultra and when i move like pick up the phone from a tabel or rotate the phone landscape-portrait or vice versa i always hear a rattle-movement of the OIS before this didnt occur i am sure 100% i never droped my phone... Any one else having this issue?

It's not a feature for crying out loud. I'm in the same boat. The cameras are held together by a metal frame. Seems that they come undone easily for Samsung. On over 1K GBP phones. That's despicable. The community needs to stop bending over and accepting this. Your phone was tightly secured and not doing it when you bought it. Other companies don't do it either, stop conforming to cheaper phones to make but more expensive to buy.

This is a real defect. The Super Steady does not work how it is supposed to after this sound. Anybody facing the same ?
