IMPORTANT NOTE: These are known issues discussed in the video, this error comes on GTA V startup or during gameplay (an online game in my case), after a few minutes of gameplay your game would crash. It is just because of a few corrupt files that need to be fixed. If you fail to fix this issue with any of the solutions I've discussed in my video please comment below before disliking. It could also be due to mods if you have any.

15, 000 views 😬 - can't believe that many people have this problem, the game should just show a simpler message instead of "Zlib" which no one understands.


UPDATE:- "VERIFY" method is different now, you need to VERIFY GAME FILES through respective launchers. For example; if you use Rockstar Launcher to play the game then you can VERIFY FILE INTEGRITY from Launcher Settings, same with Steam and such.

MODS are not discussed here, the VERIFY method will work only for original game files.

Thank you. Strangely x64i.rpf seems to be corrupted in my game. I deleted and updated the game. Then I started playing it without any issue and error message. Thank you very much. We need more people like you. Third method worked for me so I did not spend downloading 98 gb game files again.

The method with "verify" and deleting update folder didn't help. Tried everything and finally thanks to you! It was the file "x64l.rpf" which didn't match. I deleted that file about 2, 3 GB~ and started the (Rockstar Games) launcher again.. it downloaded that missing file again and then I was able to start the game. WOW, you made me so happy dude. It still works in 2024, thank u very much. Like most of people, i didn't want to unistall the game. It works with the third solution.

I tried all the options, except to uninstall it because it took a long time, I had just installed it a second time and I said what the problem might be if I just installed it, I checked the files in the rockstar club, it updated me and I see that it works now, thanks a lot

This will help most of I didnt notice at first he said add the - b4 verify so add -verify But i also didnt notice add a space after the " so u should type -verify

My disappointment is immeasurable and my night is ruined. None of the solutions worked and I am not in a situation where I can easily change my hardware. 10/10 game with no game ruining flaws.

Omg! I did number 3 and went down to all the x64 files and it came up as x64d.rpf didn’t match so then I went and deleted it and went and updated my game and it reinstalled the file and then I did the same thing. Went back and checked if the files matched and they didn’t. Did my game install the same file? Please help.
