I haven't been able to stop watching people react to it as soon as I discovered the song a couple weeks ago. I'm glad that it's spreading like wildfire

Kasey is Australia's Bowie... she will be ignored for the next 30yrs and then like a lightbulb her talent and artistry will be understood and recognised. I am a full on metalhead but got dragged to a Kasey gig at the Coogee RSL back in the early 2000's...I have never headbanged more at a concert than at that gig, and she is supposedly country...more talent than the entire current top 10 of the supposed 'pop' charts... never imagined I would adore a country artist but Kasey is a GOD. X

Not even the audience knew what was coming.

She killed that. Amazing how she lures you into that calmness and then WHAM. Who would have thought a country singer from Australia could do that with such a well known song.

It’s not a cover it’s an epic version ❤❤

whos confused by an australian country artist with a banjo covering a classic rap song, everyone? her arrangement & vocals open it right up & once she's got you in she hits you over the head with it, i love it, imo it's stands on it's own as a folk rock classic, same lyrics but you really can't compare the two. i reckon your right about her sound, she's wickedly talented & us aussie's love her.

I thought that Eminem's lyrics were made more powerful when slowed down, you can really listen to them without the beat behind it to drown them out. Eminem's original version is powerful and angry and gives inspiration but when slowed down to simmer you feel Kasey slowly bringing that anger into it until it boils over when the beat drops. With Kasey's rendition she made it her own and I think she did a fantastic beginning to end. Gives you a new appreciation for the overall meaning to the song. Aussie

Anger comes from pain and hurt...coming from a life of poverty is a tragedy. Well done Kasey, it's a beautiful tribute to Eminem

What must have been hard was to write the music to that. Kasey's a genius.

LMAO. Thanks to whoever requested thus, saved me some money. I've made it my mission to share this with every reactor I know until Em publicly acknowledges he has seen this. While he's at it he can say something about Harry Mack's "Rap God". Loved the reaction

She is not any old country singer. She is an ARIA Hall of fame PERFORMER with more than 30 major awards.

Kasey using all her heart and soul to rip out the cutting words of Eminem's reaches deep into your emotions, you get more than one shot to feel it!
Powerful performance by Kasey and band.

Her dad Bill absolutely killed that slide. Even David Gilmour would give that a nod...

thank you for playing my request, watching ginger's facial reactions during the performance was epic, you could see how much she enjoyed it, it's given me confidence to suggest again, i'm going back to the birth of pure rock in australia, 1971, billy thorpe and the aztecs singing mama live on gtk, i promise it will blow you both away

During lock down, the rest of us got bored and angry. This is what Kasey did. 😊

Kasey Chambers is an accomplished Australian country singer-songwriter, who has won multiple awards and accolades for her 12 studio albums and singles releases; at the time of this concert, Kasey was a 46yr old mother of four. Kasey was a member of Dead Ringer Band with her father(Bill), mother(Diane) and brother(Nash) before embarking on a solo career; her father was the gentleman playing the slide guitar, in this clip. Kasey has had her trials and tribulations in her life and career, and she showed her emotion throughout this cover; making it her own song, gaining permission to upload this performance to Spotify. Kasey's hit song from her 3rd album, titled Not Pretty Enough is a commentary on the reluctance of commercial radio stations towards playing her music; even though she was hugely popular and successful, as well as being the youngest artist to be entered in the Australian Music Industry Association(ARIA) Hall of Fame.

I had never heard Kasey's rendition of this song before I found it in a Reactions video. Now I have watched many reactions and I, just like others are hooked. So much different from "Rattlin Bones", "Am I Not Pretty Enough" and "The Captain". By the way, the bloke on Slide/Steel is actually Kasey's father. Thanks for the reaction.
