I recently heard that 90% of the material comes from 10 known rivers, 9 in Asia, So I was impressed when they mentioned the efforts to intercept the garbage at its river sources. Prevention is the best strategy indeed!

You guys are amazing. I put on a fundraiser for you in 2018 because I love the vision. I live in a coastal area and we see way too much trash on the shores. As well as entangled animals, injured animals, and dead animals from ocean pollution.

Boyan Slat is a remarkable young man with concrete balls, genuine aspiration, purpose driven goals, and a desire to clean up our mess. For nature's sake. He is also a very sharp businessman.

I sailed northbound through eastern end of the garbage patch in 2018. I was approximately 600 miles off the California coast. It was three days of the most depressing experience I’ve experienced in nature. Thank You So very much for your efforts!
