Flow Frame Install

I added 6 flow frames in a modified 8 frame deep box (see earlier video) to one of my beehives after doing a quick inspection of the hive. The bees seemed to take to it pretty well and filled the frames quickly during this year's blackberry flow.

That attachment, for holding frames on the outside of the box while you are working, looks like a great tool. And I like your "toolbox", too! Happy summer!

Good so see it worked for your hive, my build up was slow with my two packages and wont be able to set my flow frames on it... maybe next year if they survive, I'm still feeding and getting splits. Up to 3 hives from two and will have my fourth by July. Our flow was pretty UN-eventful this year.

Want another tip that I found works amazing, like they take to them immediately? Using a paint brush, melt some organic wax and paint in on the frames to give them a wax coating. They with a little honey from the same hive, sprinkle a little on each frame and boy oh boy they take to them right away.
