I struggled with that problem for more than one hour and copilot pro in Bing was of no utility (It suggested to de-install and re-install Microsoft 365 but the problem remained). 30 seconds of the video and my problem was solved. Bravo! By the way, in Word or PowerPoint, the autosave is not needed for having Copilot available.

i saved in onedrive, I enabled autosave. I have the necessary subscriptions. The copilot button is still grey in my app. I can use office and open excel spreadsheets in edge browser and the Copilot button is active. In ALL MY OTHER Microsoft Apps (Word, Note, Powerpoint) the Copilot button is active. I am ONLY having the grey button in excel. WHY? Please help.
