I remember watching this movie when I was 10 and yearning for this sort of life, this sort of love. It deeply moved me in many ways (not only this scene). I've always execrated routine and it may have started with this film as I played it on repeat. A year later, I lost my mom to a 5 years-long battle against cancer and promised myself to make the most out of each day, to never lose my sense of wonder and to roam the world. I've stumbled randomly upon this film again today after forgetting about it for years. It's tough to admit that I've strayed so far from that ideal.
I'm in a suffocating relationship void of spontaneity, glued to a place I abhor, stuck in the mundane, at my all time low. Mabye that's my hint to make it all change

They loved, enjoyed, felt their life each other but in the end we are the same, getting old or being a baby.

When I watched this movie back in middle school, I just only focused on Benjamin's life from being born old and being with Daisy. I just let the music pass me by and didn't care about who sang or wrote which song.
But now that I'm older, I do care and I got crazy when *Twist and Shout* came on.

James bought a duplex...on Queen Street...it burned down...that's the clock at the wickens house...they lived behind us and had a dobberm pincher on a chain...and our dog..a throw away runt of the litter black lab...would hop the fence and sit just where his chain ended and wage his tail ..lmao...the doberman pincher would go crazy...in grade school you would hear the announcement...would one of the 😊children come to the office and get your dog...I was in my room laughing when I heard it...cause he already found me
