Oh my gosh. It's like you're talking to me. I needed this. I needed a reminder and a push. I'm already a mom of a 2yr old but I still feel young at heart lol Recently, I've been feeling like I'm losing what I really am. Looks like it's a thing for new moms. So about my creative journey, I wasn't really sure what to take for college not until the end of my high school year. All I know was that I didn't want to take any course with a lot of Math lol So, that was my reason. We also have that subject, we called it "Electives" so you get to choose Journalism, Home Economics, or Drafting during junior & senior high. I chose Journalism when I was a junior then moved to drafting during my senior high. I love drawing but I know I'm not good enough and I felt that during my college years. All of them were good! Those who were like me? They shifted to other course the next semester. But I can't afford that. Luckily, I survived. Thanks to my 12 male and 1 female bestfriends hahaha Year after I graduated, I became an art instructor for kids as young as 3years old. So I got more exposed to traditional art rather than digital art. While working, I started my Instagram business where I sell invitations, souvenirs and other stuff. Unfortunately, it was hacked and life gets harder to manage. Right now, I'm working as a part time virtual assistant while taking care of my toddler. I've been pleading my partner to help me find time and inspiration to draw again, to open my shop again. And this week, it's my target. I just finished cleaning and organizing my small office/work area. Hopefully, I'll be able to bring out the artist in me once again. ✨anne_kuhlet✨

You are soooo inspiring. Such a great testimony of your life too. I’m 45 and still trying to FINALLY just push myself and stop feeling like I won’t be wasting time trying to sell my artwork in different ways and feeling like it may not be good enough, especially when I need the finances.

I'm always amazed how you can just sit and chat, and create (all at the same time) such beautiful art. Your are very talented. I so enjoy your videos. Have a good day.

I have loved art since childhood, when my first-grade teacher praised my creativity, even before I knew how to write. Throughout school, I poured my heart into drawing, but as I grew older, I had to focus more on studies. I did well in academics, but my dream of pursuing art was set aside due to financial struggles. Now, two years after completing school, I still hold on to my passion for drawing, but I can’t afford the supplies I need to fully express my creativity. Winning this giveaway would allow me to continue my art journey without burdening my family. Thank you for the chance! ❤

When I was in middle school, I loved drawing on paper. But as i got into high school, I got into doing pixel art online. I mostly messed around with making graphics that people would use as their signature in forums that were based on pixel art. It was great getting to know people and just having fun sharing graphics with each other. I love crafts. Scrapbooking was my favorite hobby. Im sorry to hear about the hard time you had. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Im glad you found something you enjoy doing. ❤ on a side note, Mrs Fox is so cute. I love her outfit. So cute. I love how you used colored pencils alongside the markers. ❤

I love how the community of artists is flourishing thansk to social media and youtube so you can see and get and inspired or learn. I don't remember any of my biology classes in middle school because I was either copying drawings from biology school book or was drawing a tiny man in different situations. Always loved drawing just eith black. I started tsking photos later in high school and it's been my passion until it didn't pay off for me.. photography just stopped doing anything for me at some point. Last year I decided to draw, which, is another form of visual art so I didn't go that far.😅 I started with regular pencil, then started to learn about different materials, buying watercolors, acrilics, watercolor pencil and eventually markers. Instagram helped me a lot to learn but also just copying from scenes from anime or cartoons. And the support that my best friend, who is a proper artist, gives me imakes me want to continue. Essentially I'm like a big kid who's showing her drawings to parents 😅. For me it became therapeutic, especially working a bit boring office jobs. And when I see a finished drawing it's gives a sense of accomplishment. Like I did something important today🎉

In the end, all the steps you've taken to get where you are now were likely necessary to bring you here. It’s all part of the journey, and the most important thing is finally finding the right path to keep growing.
I always knew I wanted to be an artist. Fortunately, my parents gave me the wings to pursue that dream—they never saw it as a problem. (I should mention that my father was a musician, so he wasn’t the kind of person who would oppose an artistic career. :-)) The real challenge came after I finished my studies. I moved to a country where I didn’t speak the language, and I needed money, so I had to take any job I could find. But I never stopped creating.
A few years later, a blessing in disguise came when I lost my job at a photo studio. The company was facing financial issues and had to let people go. That moment allowed me to claim unemployment benefits and, for the first time, wait for the right job to come along. Funny enough, that job found me after just a few months. :-)
My father used to tell me: "It’s not that you’re especially lucky, it’s that you keep pursuing what makes you happy."

Oh my gosh!! You and I are the same. Except my dad isn’t a drawer but he does encouraged me to do what I love to do. He would be upset because he always say you never like toys always crayons papers color pencils. 😂😂😂 and I love ART. Until I got discouraged by my mom because she said money isn’t there and there’s always a better than you. Which mothers suppose to be supportive.
What I learn is that no matter who tells you, you can’t or someone’s better than you. Is that… everyone are born differently and creativeness are different. Because God made it that way. Imagine if our talents are all the same? That’s burning!!!
I learn to trash people who are negative and love my self and appreciate the talent I have.
I have hard time at school specially English. So I would have bad grades and my mom said (after high school) just get a job because school is too hard for you. Now that I’m 41 I finished Medical Assistant. I did show her I can do it!!! Now, that I am a mom I always encourage my daughter and son that do what makes you happy!! It’ll always changes what you like and that’s the best of it because never settle. Find. Different things you love. And my daughter is just like me she loves art!! And I’m proud of her! Very talented very creative. And I told her go for it! My advice to everyone is never give up! Be creative be compassionate. I think that’s the problem with people now a days they would stay with one thing and they end up not being happy!!!

hola Bea!
Go girl! You are amazing!!!
