Just looks like a mild refresh/updated look for the console. Makes me want one just for that. I dig the Charcoal and Turquoise.

Thanks for showing it boot up. Most people edit that out. Mine will not send a signal to TV until dashboard is loading and I wanted to see for myself if the VS-R is supposed to show a splash screen, among a few other things I was curious if was normal during startup & setup.

Many of us are also having the issue of it not trying to detect networks unless we do a factory reset. I was starting to think all VS-R consoles were doing this but now I can see it's only some, for whatever reason. Mine is the only one I've heard having had the freeze & softlock issue when wifi password is entered (fixed only by more factory resets).

The evercade exp-r doesn't release till the end of November. So it's not out yet. It got delayed till then because they discovered a problem. Hopefully it will finally release in November. We will see. Great video. The tomb raider games are great. I have the tomb raider 1-3 remastered physical copies ordered. It's the same ones on evercade but they have been remastered with better graphics and modern controls

If only they would do a bungle with Legacy of Kain collection. I ordered the Evercade VS-R console but I hasn't got it.

Minimum 1 amp is incorrect and can cause problems according to numerous people across the web I've seen comment on this subject. Blaze has even stated so, at least on a FB post they made January 30, 2024 (FB post: "...is capable of 5V 2.0a. Most phone chargers will be this and their rating will be written on the plug itself."). In the comments of that post they replied to someone with "The requirements were updated over a year ago on our website but we've noticed an issue where the support FAQs have gone missing. We're trying to rectify it now."

Odd the manual & their support section of their website states 1-3 amp (website support page says: Any USB mains plug that supports 5v/1-3amp power will be compatible with the Evercade VS). So much for that FB comment 31 weeks ago saying they made saying they updated the requirements there. A couple other spots in the manual has a higher amperage mentioned such as where it says 3 amp is recommended. Manual also lists a maximum amperage at 3.5 but I'm pretty sure Blaze has stated before 5 amp is max. The voltage is same though at 5v.

I'm still waiting for mine, ordered on Amazon and it's delayed, was £89.99 now it's gone up to £93.95. Ripe off Great Britain. But all made in China, delayed for bad quality, I guess.

It’s cool you got yours already. Rumor has it they oversold the pre orders and have trouble delivering.
Do you plan on getting the EXR-R? Tempted to grab one but don’t know if I want to wait till November.
The Tate mode for shooters is a major selling point for me.

One guy posted a VS-R unbox & lmfao the unit wouldn’t even turn on. Evercade had to send him out a new one but it was totally off putting. Hard pass for me
