The EVERCADE Vs is an all-new Cartridge-based retro console from BLAZE and I personally love it but it's not for everyone and that's Okay! plays fully licensed physical cartridges and its designed for multi-player sessions. There are already over 260 games released for it and the Evercade handheld but this is really made to play the fully licensed ARcade games from publishers like ATARI, Gaelco, Technos, DATA East, and more! In this video we do an unboxing go over the EVercade VS UI and setting plus we test out some games! So are you gonna buy one? let me know in the comments below.

In case someone didn't know, Gaelco is an Spain based arcade company. It was quite popular here in Spain in 90s. Specially the Rally game, here we all called it "The Carlos Saiz game", for obvious reasons :-D although it was not licensed

A neat feature for the arcade carts would be if it tracked how many credits you’ve put in to get an idea of how much money you would have spent months from now, etc

For $120, this is a great deal, especially for fans like myself who love retro style games. I sincerely hope that either the Evercade guys or someone else can make a disc based retro system like this. The Evercade systems are 100% proof that even in video games, physical media is alive and well. Hopefully, we can see more gaming companies tap into the physical media market.

I also had an Aladdin's Castle near me growing up. Went down a rabbit hole and found out it was a chain. I never knew.

This system would be perfect for obscure Japanese rpg's that have never been released in the west, like the megami tensei series.

For 130 bucks it doesnt seem too bad, it's a nice nostalgic package and the 20 dollar cartridges aren't too overpriced. I think it would really shine as a platform for new or indie developers, unfortunately with everything going digital I feel like the only way this could take advantage is if it had an online store front these days. Maybe they can make a flash cart to download titles to? On the other hand you can get android boxes that play emulators for less, and not worry about the licensing issues, which makes me sigh. This era of gaming is both the greatest and worst ever at the same time.

How did I not know about this!? Man, what a cool console. The thought of physical cartridged-compilations in this day & age is awesome. :)

Alladin's Castle. Holy crap that unlocked a serious rush of memories, from getting my ass kicked in Mortal Kombat II by that one guy that never used more than 8 tokens (MKII was $2, lol, ) to getting my ass kicked in Initial D by the 13-year-old with the rainbow aura on his RX-7.
I could have spent every day in Lynnhaven Mall, bumming quarters to get more tokens.

I wasn't expecting to hear you mention Aladdin's Castle. We had one in our mall from as far back as I can remember until somewhere in the early 2000s. I used to love hanging out there. Really miss the physical Arcade experience.

Dude, this is the exact style of review I wanted to see. You highlighted all the right issues that I wanted to see. I hope the company sent you a nice lil gift for this awesome review.

Very nice design. It's not for me personally, but I get the appeal for those who enjoy it.

I am really digging this machine. I just want some arcade controls to complete the experience. Specifically a nice pair of rotary joysticks to play Midnight Resistance and Ikari warriors and stuff like that with. Big fat heavy trackball would be cool too...you can't tell me they don't have centipede or one of its knockoffs in that collection. Arkanoid ?.

A part of me wishes they had planned a switch-like portable where this release could have been a dock and a couple controllers instead of a whole additional system. Still, it's a neat idea for collectors

Good luck to them, they aren't con artists and actually ship products. But personally I don't see a reason for this type of machine. But i thought the same about the handheld and people like it so i don't know anything

This Evercade machine gives me flashbacks of my childhood for sure but the only retro games that apparently work on Evercade are those I never played or isn't interested in.

An Ethernet connection to your cable router via a broadband over mains adapter is the best way.

Aladdin's Castle! Those were the arcades we had in the town I grew up in. There was one at each of the major malls in the area. Those were good times!
