Hello guys, and welcome to the First Person Shooter Game Course. In this course, I will show you how to make a First Person Shooter Game inside of Unreal Engine 5.4. In this video, I will show you how to setup a custom character with first person animations. How to setup our weapon with aim and firing logic. We will add things like bullet hole decals, and hit particle fx. We will also add a dynamic crosshair, and weapon reload logic. Finally we will wrap up our game by making a custom aim range map. And learn how to add controller input, and package our game for Windows PC.

Hey mate, great tutorial! I have another solution for the bullet holes disappearing. Instead of writing the command in the console you can "Set Fade Screen Size" to 0 on the spawned decal and that will let it be visible from distance.

Also 1 more thing, can you please please please do a tutorial on how to add bullet trail smoke with Niagara particle system, just like the Lyra project has and like you can see in many first person shooters. I want to add this to my game! Many thanks!
