Tbh, nothing of this was specificly FPS tips, thought youd get into stuff like:

Gun recoil which feels good,
Floating hands vs full body in FPS,
Some projectile design patterns and so on

How about a video with the most advanced tips you know, even if we beginners dont understand it at first, having some mindblowing stuff is usually best to learn and understand stuff.

Here is a tip from a game artist. If you want to create your own game go ahead use the asset store. If you are trying to get a job in the industry you will reduce attention to your portfolio by using the asset store

Hi Sykoo. How about a video on using FPS Sample as the base and creating a custom ability like opening a door. Thousands of people are struggling with this ATM and Unity seems to be silent on their support for it for a long time now.

I have very mixed feelings about the Asset Store. I focused on buying assets which help me being more productive or provide awesome functionality like procedural Terrain generation with MapMagic, building structures with Archimatrix, better Inspector with Odin or building levels with ProBuilder. And yes, ProBuilder was a payed Asset a couple years ago and if I remember correctly, with about 100€ it was one of the more expensive ones to me.

So, to break it down, there are to things, which bother me with the Asset Store:
One is, Unity reinvents products or taking them over and the second much more important thing is Deprecation of assets.

Asset Creator are kind of forced for continous work on there product at least for compatibility since Unity evolves and changes their own stuff. So, when you want to upgrade Unity and get new features you might loose some of your assets in pay off. Bare that in mind when you purchase and make sure, you are ready to use and integrate this asset to your project. I made the mistake purchasing on sales day, thinking I will use it later on, and then whoops...depricated, 50 bugs for nothing.

I know, I'm not in the right world to stand that point of view, or maybe not the right time... when I see 2 different products doing the same thing, it drives me mad. Competition sucks, although it might make some (crazy) people more productive...but I don't want to get philosophic neither talk about animally part of the brain having too much influence on our behaviour, although we discovered conciousness and .... bah stop it...
Coming back to an example: Amplify Shader and Unity's Shader Graph. What else do I have to say?

To my point of view, what you are paying for in the Asset Store is for a direction to the development of the Unity Engine and its features. You make a statement on how much market value evolving into this area for Unity has. I appreciate when it happens that the developer of ProBuilder for example join Unitys DevTeam and the product gets absorbed...but I kinda feel bad when the guys from AmplifyShader end up in competition with a product they onced enriched and supported with their work. I have to say, that I'm not in contact with any of these people and I don't claim to know how they feel about it or if there was any offer to join aswell or somthing like that. I might put my own melancholic beeing on that distant observation. Perception is a strange thing.

Talking about the good things is advertisement. Including the bad things is realism (perceptional treated...). And scratching the surface by telling "some people go nuts" without a mention on why is the lack of depth you loose from being a Unity coworker on top of beeing independent.

It's like telling only the bad when there is so much good. And this is never what sums you up, and noone can. I like your content, but liked it more the times before. I hope you can grow to these words or ignore them. Keep it up. Greetz, Cynic

Hi Sykoo, I really appreciate your videos, great channel indeed!
I would like to start creating some indie games in Unity and I've this laptop:

CPU: I7-4710HQ 2.50GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 860M + Intel HD Graphics 4600
RAM: 16 BG
HARD DRIVE: V-NAND SSD 860 EVO Samsung State solid drive

Do you think such laptop is good for building high end graphics games in Unity or should I think about buying another (gaming) PC?
