"expect the unexpected" is one the best advice I received while pregnant. my first pregnancy seemed to be going great, I was healthy before and during pregnancy and at exactly 34 weeks my water broke. I felt contractions and I was ready to have my baby naturally, but because of medical reasons I ended up having an unplanned c-section. my husband and I did take childbirth classes and the instructor emphasized that it's ok for things not to go as planned as long as you and the baby are healthy. the goal is to have a healthy and safe delivery for both mom and baby. I really hope you have a healthy pregnancy and delivery xoxo

I would recommend using bio oil instead of that lotion your using.
I just had my first baby this past year and I feel you on that whole epidural subject. I didn’t want to let my mom down and wanted to have a natural birth, but after 12 hours of labor and then being placed on bed rest I opted for the epidural simply because the contractions for me laying down were intense and I was exhausted, and once my baby would come out I wanted to enjoy the bonding time and not want to sleep. I highly recommend you and Ulysses talk about a plan/backup plan. And a little tip for Ulysses... ask him to constantly be a cheerleader by your side! You don’t understand how helpful it was during those “push” moments. Hearing my husband and family members tell me how great I was doing gave me that much strength after 18 hours and 20 minutes in labor.

Blanca I’ve had two kids and had epidurals both times and I never got any permanent back pains from them. You’ll do whatever is best for your body but do your research!! You could go in to labor planning on doing one thing and it could change in a second! I’m so excited for you!!

Do whatever is right for you in that moment. The epidural actually sped up my labor. Everyone’s body is different! You will know what to do and if you do get the epidural the doctor actually lets you know when you’re getting a contractions and they will tell you to push. I would suggest if you end up having a long labor just get the epidural it will make you rest and relax before your baby is born instead of being super tired of pushing and having so much pain. Enjoy the moment only you will know what is best for you no matter what family says!

I’m totally Team Epidural! I do feel like it slowed down my labor a little but I also got to rest and regain energy to push. Also, I feel like I truly enjoyed my deliveries and welcoming my babies really calm as opposed to cussing up a storm and wanting “the baby out of me!” type of situation.. to each his own and whatever decision you make should be yours and yours alone!

Your an amazing woman just hearing you say you don’t care about stretch marks. It’s embracing your life and your body changes. I do recommend a massage or even a chiropractor for your back pain. Drink milk for your paño. It helps!! Definitely Mateo!! Good luck in your pregnancy you look amazing

Don't be scared about labor, all thorough my pregnancy I had in mind natural birth. I wasn't scared of the pain but rather the side effects of the epidural like you mentioned about back pain. For labor just stay concentrated and practice your breathing for those strong contractions, I felt like that helped me a lot. You will do great!!💕💕

I’m a mommy to a 4 month old Babygirl. I got the epidural bc i have low tolerance for pain & i went into labor just positive & ready to have my baby. It’s a Hispanic thing where us women are suppose to go all natural but honestly it all matters in that moment, just be open it’s you who will going through labor not your family. I do have back pain & i don’t regret getting it bc at the end of the day you do what you gotta do to get through it. You got this girl !

Loving ur baby bump !! I am 37 weeks and i didn’t experience stretch marks till 33 weeks . I have been using the cream u showed as well as Bio-oil its super good and doctor recommended !!! Everything changes when u hit ur third trimester :) ❤️❤️🤰🏼🤰🏼
