This is such a well-acted scene from both of these guys. You hear the pain and desire in Pope's voice and performance, and you can tell he wants to make something of himself while he still can. And then Castillo, playing someone who partakes in an organization that breaks men down to make them into hardened soldiers, yet is still willing to show kindness and see people for the good that they are, is just as compelling in this. I wish these guys the best with whatever roles they take after this.

you do realize there are other races out there right? What about Mongolian representation? What about Middle Eastern representation? What about more Asian representation?
It’s always the “woe is us” race here in the US and it’s getting old. I’d like to see OTHER less pandered to races get some representation in movies.
