Technically, Amon couldn't take away people's bending, he just used blood bending to block off someone's chi

Aamon didn't tske away their bending. He just blocked their chi using waterbending. It is permanent in some sense indeed, but if someone is skilled enoigh and know the way, i believe they will be able to unblock it and give the bending bakc (like Korra/the past Avatars did).
Also, if you'd use that logic....Suki can also take others bending away....just very temporary and not permanent

Well technically amon coukdnt take it away permanently forever. Only aang can do that so that first is 100% accurate but I get the jist

Basiclay wat happens is that all benders have diffrent blood acorrding to ur bending if ur an waterbender u have water type blood and so on so what he does is moves the blood inside you and chiblocks you fir eternity

Amon is not chi bender tho as he uses blood bending to physicaly remove someones bending wherln angg used it on spiritual level, and what thay means is any great blood bender can give someones bending back after it was taken by amon or other blood bender
