Luxury superyacht sinks off Sicily with 22 people on board after hurricane-like storm

At least one person was killed after a luxury superyacht sank off Sicily in a violent storm. The 184-foot sailboat with 22 people on board “suddenly sank," Italian officials said Monday.

A £14 million super yacht sank taking on water during a waterspout. The super yacht must have been anchored with two anchors, one at the bow and one at the stern. Modern super yachts are built for pleasure and not for rough sea.
