Never ever have I ever used my phone for video. Makes zero sense. I do however use it for covert with a full cover wallet case on it. Takes phenomenal covert video inside stores. Clients love it.

Hey man! Love the tips. I run medium tint with black fabric curtains in the rear of my minivan. It works great unless the sun is shining directly on it. What do you think is more alerting: an individual seeing the curtains in your van or risking being in the backseat?

I remember eye contact being made with me multiple times in two locations. it wasn't specifically for me I found out later. I did take a course when I was about 20 years old. I'm from Canada so Alert is BAD for private investigations and that's who was following me from store to store. he was also dressed in some type of uniform, swat boots, dark blue uniform pants and jacket. the next time I saw him he was dressed like he was in Florida. I still recognized him as he walked by even though he was wearing a mask and sunglasses lol. that time he didn't make eye contact but hard to tell with simple sunglasses on while inside a store... but it was funny to watch him walk by me like I was invisible. he knew I saw him before so I wonder what he was thinking as he walked by me just staring at him lol. it was actually a new friend they were following so they followed my bf and I. I know the whole story now of why that happened now, it was all over weapons trafficking. and here I thought I made a new friend that liked airsoft that I could actually go do games with only do have Alert following to the point I might as well gave the guy a piggy back ride he was so close. 2nd time he almost blended in, just made the mistake of turning down the wrong aisle where I stood waiting for my bf and that guy. funny story for me to look back on though. and I have come across PIs a couple more times. I just had to look directly at him knowing he'd be gone for good, and he was. pretty sure he was private and not Alert, cuz they would've been back wearing the fake glasses, nose and mustache get up to thwart my attention lol. I would make a great subject for training/testing these individuals based on what I learned long ago and my attention to detail and situational awareness. I do support the work they do especially catching child predators. that's mostly computer stuff that police do and they got their techs. makes me happy to see them get caught and human traffickers getting locked up

Tip 12: EYES. Its recommended to have eyes if able when doing surveillance.

You can tell when you’re being watched. Sometimes a crewcut can give you away. Nobody cuts their hair like that unless they have to. 🧐 A long beard and tinted sunglasses you might as well shout hey I with so and so and am watching you shop.🤦🏾‍♀️ And that not looking at your subject lol if am looking you direction it only natural or human nature for you to look directly at me because am looking at you probably by now taking your picture with my phone.
